It is my mission as an event designer and producer to collect my clients’ unique personalities and stories, and orchestrate for them an event that creates magical moments to be cherished for a lifetime. Melanie & Co. is more than an event planning company, we are a group of storytellers, designers, and humanitarians. We do everything with flair, and pizzazz., but in the most understated ways! Our brand embodies small town hospitality and is focused on creating an experience that colors outside of the line for our clients; while giving back to the community one event at a time. We love working with clients who are daring, crave understated elegance and are willing to transcend trends to illustrate their unique story.
As the producer and designer behind every single Melanie & Co. event, I hold every event close to my heart, pouring into it as if it were my own big day, and treating your friends and family like they were mine.
My story: I am a eclectic small town girl living in Los Angeles. Growing up I’ve always loved using events to tell stories, whether I was planning a surprise party for my sisters or an Anniversary dinner for my parents everything had a story-line. In college I had the amazing opportunity to intern for a local event planner and that is when I decided to turn my passion and love for events into a business. I enjoy the simply things in life like the sound of laughter, a sassy comeback, spending time with friends and family, hand written notes and a good game night. I would describe my personal style as vintage elegance with a modern twist! I’m drawn to pieces that have a vintage look, but are in a modern color or pattern. I also love modern pieces that are in vintage colors and patterns. I believe pearls give every outfit a touch of elegance, even leopard print… Ha! I am passionate about many things some of them are out of the box designs, stories, giving back to the community, and making everyone around me feel important and heard.

Melanie, thank you so much for making our day so amazing and stress free. We had so many complements about how well organized and BEAUTIFUL the ceremony and reception was. You were such a great help throughout the year, I could not of planned this wedding without you. My mom and I were so happy to have found you. We truly enjoyed getting to know you and spending so many hours brainstorming about how we could make my special day truly “special”. It’s hard to find such a kind and patient creative director/ head event planner like you Melanie. You not only impressed me with your creative ability but also with your caring personality. You treated our guests and bridal party like they were family and I am so thankful for that. And I don’t want to forget about how well you organized the day after clean up of the wedding.
